IN HER ROOM is my little project on this blog where I will feature some of my favorite girl artists in their personal spaces. I've always been fascinated by artists' rooms for they seem more "human" when I'm able to take a peek of their rooms- even just in pictures. Plus, I'm perpetually inspired by a myriad of blogs like The Selby and Kinfolk blog that I decided I should make my own little version of theirs.

Started it with my utmost favorite Filipino girl illustrators, Valerie Chua. I don't think this multi-talented artist needs any more introduction :)

I'm glad you did a shoot with Valerie, she's one of my favorite local illustrators. In fact, I discovered your blog through her. My I ask what photography equipment do you use? I mean the camera brand and film? And do you use artificial lighting?

Hi Aleyn! I'm your recent fan. I just want you to know that you're one of the reasons why I started shooting on film. Your photos are always lovely and inspiring. So disappointed I didn't make it to your exhibit's opening.

Anyway, do you develop your own films? or have you tried developing your prints on your own in the traditional dark room? :)

Oh, last two questions. Where do you usually have your films develop? Do you have them transferred on Cds or do you prefer to print them? I'm sorry if I ask a lot. Just want to learn how you process your photos. I hope you understand. :)
