February 26th

The Bloomfields in Waterfront, Cebu earlier this evening.

I'm really anxious to go home tomorrow since I know I'll cry so hard.
Everything has been a blur lately.
I don't like it at all.

February 13th

After months of persuasion, I finally succumbed to my friend Marga's request to take my picture with make-up and such. She did the styling and hair and make-up as well. Sadly though, we only get to do this rather quickly, around 15 minutes, as it was really late and we didn't have much natural light. These were already taken at around 6:15-6:30 pm a few moments after sunset. Huge credit goes to the 50 1.2 lens that we borrowed from a friend :)
She also did a really lovely post about me on her blog HERE. Thanks Maggie, yer ze best! <3

I also took black and white film photos of our friend Sorrel who happened to be there too. She was the model at first and I'm the photographer, then afterwards, I get to be the model and she gets to be the assistant while Marga is taking my picture. It was so much fun especially because we really are running out of natural light and the battery's dying on us every few minutes.

I will get them processed in Manila probably next week since I'm leaving town again tomorrow.  If the pictures turn out great, I'll probably choose that set for a group exhibition outside the country. *fingers crossed*

As I am writing this, It's Valentines Day and I'm at home with my family. We had this kind of barbecue party and my dad cooked our favorite Filipino foods while mom's preparing all the other stuffs, like getting the karaoke ready. :)
No date for me this year hehe

Now, I have to get back to eating the Oreo cheesecake when I'm done typing.
I hope everyone is having a lovely time in this cool and breezy Valentines day!

January 27th

These photos were from a lovely day out with my friend Rikkah Formaran last January 27 (my only free day before leaving town again). We had tons of fun wandering about that hidden pond (?). It's beside a river but we didn't take pictures there for fear that snakes might randomly pop out. It is also beside a secluded street where some student drivers practice. It was kind of awkward though,  since I don't think they were really test driving at that time, instead they kept on looking at us. It was so lame, we had to laugh.

I used two different films for this and two different sets, so I will be posting the rest of the pictures in due time.

A cold day in January

I have longed to move away
From the repetition of salutes,
For there are ghosts in the air
And ghostly echoes on paper,
And the thunder of calls and notes.

February 2nd

me at a Grecian inspired house in Tagaytay, Philippines.

The above photos were random posey shots when we were on break while on a wedding film shoot in Tagaytay.
Please excuse my frequent absence as I have been extremely busy traveling and shooting for work. I have loads of photos to share but those will have to wait. I will also be launching my website pretty soon too. I've never been this excited!

On another note, I received the new Fuji Mini Instax 50s in the mail today. An extremely kind person sent it to me when (he) saw my wishlist on my personal Facebook wall. I've never felt so freaked out and happy at the same time. With that said, I guess you will also see some outtakes and snapshots from it when I have the time to scan.

How's everybody's New year so far?
