A weekend in the woods and at sea

The weekend before the last was truly, truly awesome. I had to stay in a little cabin in the woods for a day with my friends from church in a place not too far from where I live. There were about 15 of us and the morning greeted us with sounds of birds chirping and little sunlight here and there seeping in between the clouds. It was a little foggy and cold and the it smelled of soil and barks of trees and freshly cut grass.

I get to ride at the back of a motorcycle again after probably 18 years and the view is way better when in a motorcycle when passing by tall trees than in a car.

Later in the morning I met up with my other friends and newly-found friends to go swimming and cliff-diving in a small place in an island 15-minute boat ride plus 30 minute by land to where I live. I ended up not diving since I didn't bring extra clothes so I spent the rest of the time cheering for my friends who did.
We also stayed under this little cave where we felt like mermaids.  It was so calm and beautiful that we wish we'd just live there forever.

Hello, Aleyn! As usual, I adore your photos! The angle is just right and... I forgot if I've ever asked you this or not, but what film do you use for this? And on what price?

Btw, you are a Pinoy, aren't you? Where all of these pictures located on? :)

Sheyka: Thank you! :) For this, I used Lucky Super 200 which probably costs around 1.50 USD. Really cheap. But as for the rest of my photos, I use whatever film I can get my hands on. I am currently hoarding DNP Centurias and Ferranias. I will use some for my trip in Thailand and Singapore next week so expect some results in the coming weeks. :)

Yes I am Pinoy and these were taken in Iloilo (my hometown) and Guimaras Island :)

Richard: Oh I would want to trade places with you!

Brigduong: Thank you so dearly :)

This looks truly peaceful and beautiful. It's nice to get away from the city and be completely surrounded by trees and nature, isn't it? And agreed, motorbikes and forests are a fab match. I love when the wind whips through you.
